Build around a peaceful courtyard with a pont- which can be viewed from most of our 49 guest rooms and suites or while dining in our 75 seat gourmet restaurant. The award winning Yasmins Restaurant offers a menu full of exciting Continental and International Fusions. With its comfortable furnishings and grand stone fireplace- the Lounge invites you to unwind and enjoy your favorite cocktail or light menu. For the serious wine lovers The Orchards has a private subterranean climate controlled wine cellar- bookable for tastings or receptions. The 4 meeting and banquet rooms can host groups to 126 people and is coordinated by an experienced conference and special events staff. The rooms have been accentuated with custom moldings- exquisite wall coverings and lush fabrics which is completed by antique English furniture and artwork. The large bathrooms including an adjoining dressing room and most of our accommodations offer the warmth of an elegant fireplace. An outdoor swimming pool adjacent to the exercise room is open during the summer season from 9;00am to 8;00pm. The exercise room is furnished with treadmills- exercise bike- weight machine- ellipse as well as sauna and steam bath. Nearby are extensive tennis facilities- 2 18-hole golf courses Waubeeka and Taconic- downhill skying at Jiminy Peak- tubing at Brodie Mountain and cross-country skiing- storage areas available. Bicycles may be rented across the street from the Spoke. The surrounding area offers cultural attractions like the Williamstown Theater Festival- a Tony Award winning summer repertory company- the Berkshire Symphony- the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute one of the best small museums in America- specializing in French 19th century paintings- Williams College Museum of Art- Tanglewood- Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival- Mass MoCA or Norman Rockwell Museum.

ALB- Albany Airport:

ALB- Albany Airport- 40 MI E Directions from the Albany Airport to The Orchards; Via Route 43 recommended winter route; Take Interstate Highway 87 South and take exit 1 onto IH 90 East. Follow Interstate Highway 90 to exit 8 at Defreestville onto Route 43 East/North Follow Route 43 East/North to the end in Williamstown- traveling approximately 40 miles. At the end of Route 43- turn right onto Route 2 East; traveling1/2 mile and take a right onto Adams Road. The Orchards is on the left. Via Route 2 summer; Take Interstate Highway 87 North; then exit and take Route 7 East to Troy. Travel over the bridge and through Troy- about 9 miles. Turn right onto Route 278 and at the end of Route 278- turn left onto Route 2 East. Travel for about 1/2 an hour and follow Route 2 as it turns onto Route 7 North. Continue to village green and turn right onto Route 2 East traveling mile. Turn right onto Adams Road. The Orchards is on the left.
